YS Sharmila’s Strong Reply to AP CM YS Jagan

In a forceful response to her brother and YSRC president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s recent remarks, APCC chief YS Sharmila Reddy expressed her dismay at his lack of decorum in commenting on the colors of sarees worn by his sisters. Speaking at a public gathering in Guntur, she questioned Jagan’s need to resort to such petty criticisms and labeled his behavior as uncultured. Sharmila challenged the notion of any party owning exclusive rights to colors, particularly yellow, highlighting its significance in their family history, as recommended by their father, YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

Refuting Chief Minister Jagan’s allegations that she reads from a script prepared by TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu, Sharmila asserted her independence and integrity, stating that she does not rely on scripts authored by others, unlike Jagan. Contesting the Kadapa MP seat against her cousin YS Avinash Reddy, Sharmila criticized Jagan’s alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, questioning his commitment to the state’s interests and highlighting his silence on issues such as violence in Manipur. She also cast doubt on the sincerity of Jagan’s supporters, accusing them of opportunism and inconsistency in their allegiances.
