Charming starlet Malavika Nair is a familiar face in Tollywood. Having acted in more than half a dozen films, the Yevade Subrahmanyam and Taxiwala actress is trying her best to make an impact in Telugu with her glamourous performances in girl-next-door roles. She shared screen space with second-tier heroes like Vijay Devarakonda and Naga Chaitanya. But couldn’t enter the top league of heroines. However, she made a name for herself with chirpy acting skills and bubbly screen presence.
Malavika is now paired opposite Naga Shaurya in the upcoming romantic entertainer Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi ( PAPA). This is the second time she is playing the romantic interest of Shaurya after Kalyana Vibhogame. In PAPA, there is a steamy lip-lock scene between the lead pair and this has become a talking point among moviegoers after the release of the theatrical trailer. Reacting to these discussions, Malavika said she has no qualms to accept kiss scenes if the story demands them. She further added that she neither feels uncomfortable not objectified while doing intimate scenes.
Malavika said she plays the role of an independent and happy-go-lucky girl, Anupama. The story traces the journey of a reserved girl from 18 to 28 years. Malavika is confident that PAPA will entertain moviegoers to the fullest. She is hoping for a big break with this coming-of-age romantic drama which is slated for release on March 17th.
