The most hyped teaser of the sequel, ‘Yatra-2’ is out by the production house Three Autumn Leaves as the movie is getting ready for its release next month.
After the success of the first part ‘Yatra’ which showcased the biography of united Andhra Pradesh’s late CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy starring Mammoty, the director Mahi V Raghav, an ardent fan of this leader came up with the sequel. With the Tamil actor Jeeva portraying the lead role as YS Jagan, the movie showcases glimpses of the young politician from being a normal MP to the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in the 2019 elections. The movie as expected focused on the political journey elevating Jagan’s rise from 2009 to 2019 including the sudden death of YSR and is planned to bring hype to the AP voters before the general elections of 2024.
Yatra-2 has a stellar cast like Mahesh Manjrekar posing as Chandrababu Naidu, Suzzane Bernert as Sonia Gandhi with the Malayalam superstar Mammootty as YSR in a cameo. Happening cinematographer Madhie handled the camera while the Dasara composer Santosh Narayan scored the music for this 8th February release.
