Rocking Star Yash is currently dedicating his time to his upcoming major projects, “Toxic” and “Ramayana.” The much-awaited gangster action thriller ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups’ helmed by National Award winner Geetu Mohandas was earlier slated for a release of April 10, 2025. However, Yash has officially confirmed that this highly anticipated film will not hit theaters on its originally scheduled date. The actor revealed that the film was delayed due to scheduling conflicts among the film’s stellar cast, which features stars like Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qurashi, and many others.
In a recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter India, Anupama Chopra asked whether ‘Toxic’ is going to make the April date. Yash addressed the delay, explaining the release date was premature. He said, “We had to start a little early, then something went wrong. We had some date issues, so it took more than a little more time than what we initially anticipated. So, I won’t be coming on that date.”
He further stated, “I don’t want to announce a date because, for me, credibility is important. It has never happened that when we announce we will come. This is the first time we didn’t even start, so I realized that there are many complications because actors from across many industries are coming; all of them are busy in some projects. So when you want to do something like this, you need to wait and get the right time, and bringing them together is a little challenge in this film.”
