The party YSRCP never ceases to amaze the regular voters and common people with their weird acts. The party and its cadre have welcomed a criminal accused in a murder case from jail on par to the red carpet.
Going into the details, It is already a known fact that the YSRCP MLC Anantha Babu was sent to jail on the charges of murder of his personal driver in the early months of this year. Initially, the government with the help of the Police tried to evade the case but the political pressure from the opposition made the home department take charge and arrest the leader. After being proven guilty backed by vocal and material evidence, he was sent to jail. After spending 211 days in Jail, the former MLC was granted conditional bail from the Supreme Court of India.
What was shocking was that the supporters and other local leaders welcomed Anantha Babu as if he had achieved something significant in life when all he did was a severe criminal offense. He is still termed as Accused-1 and such leaders get a grand welcome only in YSRCP. The supporters raised the slogans ‘Jai Babu’ and the released leader waved his hand to greet them. The entire episode reminded the commoners regarding the release of the Jagan back in the past. Observers are quick to respond that accusing one leader of any criminal offense gets such warm reception in the YSRCP ruling.
