Andhra Pradesh’s Finance and Legislative Affairs Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy declared that the city of Vizag will only be the capital of AP but not the three as the entire YSRCP camp claimed all three years.
Buggana while addressing a promotional event in Bengaluru of the upcoming AP’s Investors Summit that is to be held on the 3 and 4th of March in Vizag revealed about making Vizag as the permanent capital. He backed his claim by stating that Vizag has all the scope to become a metropolitan city of its vast lands and a natural harbor so he invited all the investors to the steel city. Upon clarifying why they went back on three capitals, Buggana stated that the YSRCP Govt was still committed to decentralization as a High Court will be constructed in Kurnool and one Assembly session will be held in Guntur just like Karnataka’s Belagavi.
Another YSRCP Minister Gudiwada Amarnath claimed that Vizag is the perfect spot for the IT hub and it will develop like Hyderabad and Bengaluru in terms of software. The IT Minister claimed that Infosys is all set to start its operations with thousand employees in three months in Vizag and asked other companies to invest in the steel city. The two YSRCP Ministers declared that AP stands at 4th position in its natural free lands to attract investors with many ports and youth who are ready to get employed. One has to see how many companies YSRCP can bring in its remaining one-plus years terms when all it brought was almost nothing in the 3+ years.
