Vizag Files : TDP To Expose YSRCP’s Land Mafia

Thursday, November 14, 2024

Controversial Bollywood film ‘The Kashmir Files’ created a sensation all over the country by exposing the real facts behind the Hindu massacre in Kashmir during the 90s. Similarly, Rajadhani Files is a political film that brought to light the ordeal of Amaravati farmers who donated their lands for the construction of capital in Andhra Pradesh.

Now, the people of AP are going to witness Vizag Files. It is not a film, but a government program that is aimed to expose the land mafia of YSRCP leaders in and around Vizag in the last five years when Jagan Mohan Reddy was the Chief Minister of the state. It is well known that the previous government proposed Vizag as an executive capital as part of the three capital idea floated in 2019 by Jagan in the state assembly.

Since then, many YSRCP leaders resorted to glaring irregularities with abuse of power and use of authority. Thousand of acres of government lands in and around the coastal city was illegally encroached and leased without prior permissions for personal gains. Leaders like Vijay Sai Reddy, Avanti Srinivas, MVV Satyanarayana and others were involved in this land mafia.

Bheemili TDP MLA Ghanta Srinivas Rao stated that he will soon reveal all the details of land mafia with adequate proofs on how Jagan Mohan Reddy’s party incharges, local leaders with the help of government officers confiscated lands and benefitted from it. He promised that those who suffered due to the atrocities of YSRCP leaders will be provided complete justice.

It is a known fact that Vijay Sai Reddy, who was the incharge of Visakhapatnam parliament when YSRCP was in power, faced several allegations about land mafia other crimes in Vizag. Even the local MLAs and MP are faced serious allegations for resorting to various irregularities. This is also one of the reasons why YSRCP faced a humiliating defeat in the recent assembly elections. The party failed to win a single MLA in Vizag constituency despite announcing as an executive capital.
