Viveka’s murder case meets the Deadline: All Eyes on CBI

Monday, May 20, 2024

The infamous murder case of Kadapa MP YS Vivekananda Reddy despite its prolonged investigation has hit the deadline set by the Chief Justice. Now that the case still didn’t seem to reach a final conclusion, everyone has been looking at the CBI regarding what it would do now.

It is a known fact that the brother of late YSR, YS Vivekananda Reddy was brutally murdered and the case which was initially handled by the AP Police got transferred to the CBI of Telangana with the hard work of Sunitha, the daughter of the demised. Since then, there have been a few arrests of the main culprits including Bhaskar Reddy who is a co-plotter alongside his son YS Avinash Reddy. After a detailed investigation, CBI tried its best to arrest Avinash Reddy but the latter managed to get anticipatory bail in case he gets arrested.

Earlier the Supreme Court of India which got vexed with the long duration of this case had directed the CBI to finish and arrest the culprits by the 30th of June, that is today. But looking at the progress of CBI, it hasn’t come to any conclusion whatsoever. So the experts opine that CBI would approach the Apex Court of India and seek for a few more weeks to finish the case once and ever. Irrespective of the arrest of Avinash Reddy, the damage to his good name has been done with his alleged involvement which in turn damages the good name of his party YSRCP.
