The family of the late YS Rajasekhar Reddy split post the elections of 2019 and the two kids YS Jagan and YS Sharmila were rumored to be having a cold sibling war. To add more fuel to these rumors, Jagan’s silence on the recent arrest of Sharmila is speaking volumes.
Post the bifurcation, Jagan who tried to grab the power was arrested while doing the infamous ‘Padha Yatra’ and it was his sister YS Sharmila who continued the walk across the state and it fetched power to Jagan in 2019’s polls. After winning as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Jagan completely sidelined his sister and the latter was deeply hurt by this act. Apart from this, they were also speculated to have property-sharing issues and all these gave rise to the split of the family. Sharmila went to Telangana to pursue her own career in Politics by establishing YSRTP and has been touring the entire state under the name ‘Praja Prasthanam’ to gain power.
It is a known fact that Sharmila got arrested yesterday but her own blood brother YS Jagan remained silent. Neither we saw any response from him or his supporters nor he indirectly helped her with his alleged friendship with KCR. As this is indeed shocking for the YSR fans, now their mother YS Vijayamma stated that there was no need for Jagan’s response or involvement in this issue as he belongs to Andhra Pradesh. She claimed that the issue is Sharmila’s own and she will handle it no matter what as she was born and raised in Hyderabad. Seems all is not well within the family of YS Rajasekhar Reddy post his demise.
