The number two of YSRCP, Vijaya Sai Reddy finally breathed easy as he got inducted into a central committee in Rajya Sabha. After a humiliation, the center made him a member of the Public Accounts Committee.
Vijaya Sai Reddy maintains a close relationship with the central leaders of the BJP and he acts as a bridge between the center and AP state governments. He often gets the appointments of Ministers at the capital more than BJP’s allies. Such a leader was priorly offered the post of vice-chairman for the Rajya Sabha Affairs committee, a body that can act as a Speaker in the absence of the Vice-President in the month of October. Wasting no time, Reddy revealed the news thanking all the BJP biggies. However, the center changed its mind and removed Sai Reddy from the list and hurt him.
Now he was officially made a member of the committee for Public Accounts, a group that deals with the accounts of the central government. Actually, the ruling party offers such membership to opposition parties but these days they are getting offered to relatively friendly opposition leaders for faster scrutiny of accounts. Vijaya Sai Reddy thanked PM Modi and other leaders for the post offered and shared his happiness via his official Twitter handle. Now the observers say that finally, Sai Reddy got some consolation after humiliation.
