Rao asserted that they did not seek sympathy from TDP leaders and urged them not to politicize the incident.
He highlighted the potential severity of the situation had the stone struck elsewhere on the CM’s body. Rao called for a thorough investigation by the Election Commission, suggesting it would expose Chandrababu’s motives. He characterized the attack as a conspiracy to eliminate the CM, underscoring the necessity to enhance Jagan’s security.
Additionally, MLA Vellampalli Srinivasa Rao revealed his own injury from the attack, describing scratches on his eyeball and receiving initial treatment from security personnel. He indicated his intention to pursue further medical care and filed a complaint with the Sing Nagar police in Vijayawada, resulting in the registration of a non-bailable case under Section 307.
