Ex-MP of Congress, Undavalli Arun Kumar fired bullets at the two political parties of AP, TDP, and YSRCP. The senior advocate declared that the politicians of Andhra Pradesh failed to get the promises done by the Center for the State.
Speaking to the scribes in the city of Rajamahendravaram on Sunday, the ex-leader declared Center has never fulfilled the promises of the AP Bifurcation Act of 2014. He found fault with the then TDP Government followed by the current YSRCP Government regarding their inability to fight with the Central Government and get the promises done. Undavalli pointed out the ungranted Special Category Status, Privatization of Vizag Steel Plant, No foundation for the proposed Kadapa Steel Plant, Special Railway Zone, No funds for Polavaram Project, etc in this regard. According to this ex-MP, the two parties TDP and YSRCP failed miserably in either forcing the Center to help AP in developing the State. The former Member of Rajya Sabha opined that TDP and YSRCP failed to use the joint capital Hyderabad which was proposed for 10 years and vacated it immediately after the bifurcation.
Undavalli who is rather known for his soft corner on the AP CM YS Jagan this time breathed fire on the latter. He found fault with the YSRCP Government for not fixing the capital yet and also opined that supporting NDA in the No Confidence Motion is like surrendering the self-respect of the entire AP state to Modi’s Sarkar.
