TTD Chairman BR Naidu and his wife offered silk clothes to Lord Rama of Ayodhya on behalf of Tirumala Venkateswara Swamy. On reaching the temple, he was welcomed by the team of Sri Rama Janmabhoomi Theertha Kshetra Trust General Secretary Champat Rai.
Later, they went in a procession amidst the mela talas and auspicious instruments and offered silk clothes to Lord Rama. The priests blessed the TTD team and presented the Tirtha Prasadam. BR Naidu said that the visit to the temple was a great experience and joy.
He said that this tradition will be continued every year in the coming days. Similarly, he said that there is an opportunity to offer clothes to Lord Venkateswara Swamy from Ayodhya in the future. He also explained that they are thinking of constructing TTD temples here.
He said that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has already given instructions for the construction of TTD temples in all the capitals and important areas of the country. BR Naidu revealed that he will request the government here to allocate land for the construction of a Balaji temple in Ayodhya.
TTD board member Bhanu Prakash Reddy, HDPP secretary Sriram Raghunath, chief priests of Srivari temple and officials participated in this program. Later, BR Naidu met Rama Janmabhoomi Trust general secretary Champat Roy as a courtesy. The two discussed various issues. They discussed issues such as working together between Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam and Ayodhya Ram Mandir in the future.
Meanwhile, the darshans of Tirumala Srivari Vaikunta Dwara have been completed. The Vaikuntha Dwaras were closed with a solitary service on Sunday night. The darshans of Vaikuntha Dwara started from the 10th of this month and ended on the 19th of this month. In a total of 10 days, 6 lakh 83 thousand 304 people had darshan of Tirumala Srivari through Vaikuntha Dwara.
In 10 days, the Srivari Hundi received an income of Rs. 34.43 crores. Also, 183,132 devotees offered their heads and paid their obeisances to the Lord. The rush of devotees in Tirumala is normal. On Sunday, 70,826 devotees visited the Lord. 22,625 devotees offered their heads and paid their obeisances to the Lord.
