Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman B.R. Naidu has announced that permanent employees will be provided Supatham Darshan once every three months. Addressing the media alongside Executive Officer Shyamala Rao following the TTD Trust Board meeting, he also stated that unauthorized shops in Tirumala would be removed.
The board approved several key resolutions, including the establishment of a special trust for the construction of temples abroad and the formation of a committee to safeguard TTD assets. Special measures will be implemented to resolve legal disputes related to TTD-owned lands. Additionally, the board passed a resolution to remove non-Hindu employees working within TTD.
The board also decided to take initiatives for the construction of Sri Venkateswara temples in various state capitals over the next year and approved financial assistance for temple projects that were halted in villages. An inquiry has been ordered into irregularities in the supply of offerings under the Srinivasa Seva Samithi.
A resolution was passed for the restoration of temples with historical ties to TTD. A committee comprising vigilance and revenue officials will be formed to address unauthorized digital hacking activities in Tirumala. The board further approved the allocation of offline darshan tickets for elderly and differently-abled devotees, reintroducing a previous system on a trial basis.
Additionally, the board approved a ₹5,258.68 crore budget for 2025-26 and sanctioned ₹772 crore for the modernization of temple guesthouses.
