In what may be called a shocking yet surprising piece of news, a bus carrying passengers avoided a terrible accident on the ghat roads of Srisailam. The bus stopped before it could fall into the deep valley from a steep ghat road curve.
Going into the details, a TSRTC bus going from Srisailam to Mehabubnagar was going in the dangerous ghat roads of the hills. While passing a curve, for some unknown reasons as of now, the driver lost control of the bus due to some added speed and hit the side protection wall of the ghat road and halted. The Iron fence that protects vehicles from falling into the valley saved the bus luckily and all the 30 onboard passengers inside the bus immediately vacated the bus and felt relieved because it would be a sure-shot disaster if the bus had fallen. Everyone is thanking the iron fence that stopped the bus even with such inertia.
The officials and local police reached the place immediately and helped the passengers to move on to another transport vehicle. Meanwhile, they launched a probe to investigate what went wrong that resulted in a such horrific accident.
