Both the ruling party and the opposition party in the state of Andhra Pradesh have made the Thullur district of Amaravati into a war zone.

Getting into the details, citing the government’s decision to give house sites to the poor, the former MLA Tenali Sravan Kumar has given a call for the protest and the farmers of Amaravati have also extended their support to the protest. On the other hand, the ruling party YSRCP supporters have given a call for a bike rally as a token of celebration and also accept the government’s decision for allocating the houses to the poor. Coming to know this, the police have stopped both ruling party activists and the opposition party’s activists from staging a dharna or rally at the premises of the village. Further, the police have issued prohibitory orders in the mandal citing law and order issues.

It is also seen a lot of police force has been deployed and have arrested some farmers and opposition party members who are staging a protest and shifted to the local police station. With both TDP and YSRCP staging protests and rallies, the Thullur village of Amaravati has turned into a war zone.
