Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam have reunited once again for the highly anticipated gangster action drama ‘Thug Life.’ With high expectations, the film is set to hit the screens on June 5, 2025. Recently, the filmmakers shared an exciting musical update.
On Friday, the makers shared the BTS video, revealing that Thug Life’s first single will be released soon. The video features the legends in one frame: Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, and AR Rahman. In the video, Kamal arrives at the recording session to meet maverick director Mani Ratnam and the legendary composer AR Rahman. Kamal is seen reciting a few lines, Pandhalukku Eesana Moolai, from the film’s first single, hinting at the beginning of the musical journey with the tagline, “Thugsters musical journey begins.”
Fans are brimming with excitement for the collaboration between Mani Ratnam and AR Rahman, known for their blockbuster music. With Kamal Haasan in the lead, the film has a stellar cast including Trisha Krishnan, Silambarasan TR, Ashok Selvan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, Nassar, Abhirami, Mahesh Manjrekar, Tanikella Bharani, Vadivukkarasi, Chinni Jayanth, Vaiyapuri, Bagavathi Perumal, Baburaj, Ali Fazal, Rohit Saraf, Arjun Chidambaram, and Rajashri Deshpande.
