A month after the formation of a new government in the state and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announcing that he will start `cleaning of administration from Tirumala’, TDP has sought a probe into corrupt practices of former TTD Trust Board Chairman Bhumana Karnuakar Reddy and former Executive Officer Dharma Reddy at Tirumala. sought a probe by AP CID or  Vigilance Enforcement.

TDP National Spokesperson Gurjala Malyadri and State Spokesperson Nilayapalem Vijay Kumar have complained to the Chief Secretary  Nirabh Kumar PRasad against both of those key operators of YCP’s activities in TTD and allegedly  involved in illegalities and acted against the traditions to benefit YCP.

They deplored that following the previous YS Rajasekhar Reddy regime’s tradition, YS Jaganmohan Reddy also appointed a non-IAS officer Dharma Reddy first as JEO and then as EO. They alleged that Dharma Reddy tried to collect donations for YCP by abusing his connections with big industrialists.

Moreover, they alleged that Dharma Reddy did not follow the guidelines of the Supreme Court in the name of changing the furniture. They accused that Dharma Reddy used to go to Delhi frequently to settle criminal cases and YCP’s political affairs.

They asserted that If Dharma Reddy’s mobile phone call data is examined, his political involvement in Delhi to protect YS Jaganmohan Reddy in criminal cases will be clear. Dharma Reddy is also rumored to have offered a diamond watch worth 2 crores to a High Court judge, they alleged.

“Both Karunakar Reddy and Dharma Reddy diverted TTD funds for civil contracts at will without regard to the budget. Ex-chairman YV Subbareddy exceeded the budget limit and increased it to Rs. 475 crores. Karunakar Reddy, who took over as chairman, increased the budget to Rs. 1,772 crores and committed serious irregularities” they added.

In order to benefit Bhumana Reddy in the election, the TDP leaders alleged that Dharma Reddy and Karunakar Reddy collected Rs. 10,500 in the name of Sri Vani Trust tickets and did not show how the money was deposited to the TTD without the permission of the TTD board.

They also mentioned various irregularities in construction activities and asserted that all their corrupt and irregular acts should be exposed and stern action should be taken against them by conducting a thorough probe.
