Telugu Desam Party Parliamentary Party leader Lau Srikrishna Devaraya said that his party has mentioned the economic destruction during the YSRCP regime in the AP at the All Party meeting, convened by the Center on Sunday. He said that he mentioned about zero development in the state in five years.
Further, he said that the white papers released in the assembly will be discussed in the parliament as well. Amaravati, Visakha Steel Plant, Polavaram and railway projects will also be raised in the Parliament monsoon session, he added. He said that he asked for time to discuss these issues in the Parliament sessions.
He said that TDP has decided to mention these issues in the Parliament, so that every one in the country should know the disastrous regime of Jaganmohan Reddy, held in the state. He is sure that the White Papers being released by the AP Government on the previous government’s tract record will surprise the entire country.
Srikrishna Devaraya said that the issue of Visakha Steel Plant will be raised in the Parliament. He said that if there are any problems, the opposition parties should discuss them in the assembly, saying that they should also talk about the grants to the state. He asserted that the TDP focus is on the development of the entire state.
He said that all the parties should know the financial condition of the state and if they know that, they will not question if the Center provides some special assistance to the state. The MPis hopeful that he asked the Center to fulfill the aspirations of the people of the state.
The TDP MP asserted that the AP government is giving highest priority to law and order in the state. But, he deplored that the opposition YCP is trying to boycott the assembly sessions only to avoid facing facts about the financial mess they have created in the state.
The MP alleged that Jagan was trying to run away without raising the issues of the state in the assembly. He said that the opposition is trying to mislead the people of the state.
