The TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh has lambasted Jagan and his government for neglecting the farmers who were severely affected by the drought this year.
He stated that the people of several villages around Kurnool district have vacated due to the prevailing drought situation and the state government has no concern over this. Nara Lokesh mentioned that as per the statistics it is recorded that the calendar year has recorded the lowest rainfall in the state in the past 100 years. Despite facing such terrible situations by the farmers in AP, the state government led by Y S Jagan is more interested in foisting fabricated cases on the opposition rather than helping farmers in the state, added Lokesh.
Lokesh also made a point that despite the cabinet holding the meeting yesterday, no discussion has come regarding the prevailing drought situations in the state. Lokesh ridiculed Jagan saying that’s the commitment of Y S Jagan towards the farmers in the state.
