RS Infotainment returns with yet another gripping venture, Mandaadi, a raw and intense sports-action drama directed by Selfie fame Mathimaran Pugazhendhi. This time, audiences will witness a powerful on-screen clash as Soori and Suhas come together for a high-stakes face-off.
Known for his acclaimed performances in strong, content-driven roles, Soori leads the film. But stealing the spotlight is Telugu actor Suhas, who makes his much-anticipated Tamil cinema debut with Mandaadi, showcasing a stunning transformation that’s already grabbing headlines.
The first-look posters, unveiled today, reveal Suhas in a completely different avatar – sporting grey hair, a rugged lungi, and an intense, fierce expression. Standing alongside his team, the Tsunami Riders, on a windswept beach, the backdrop of a boat adds to the film’s gritty and realistic vibe, hinting at the earthy storytelling style the makers are known for.
Taking the big career step, Suhas plays the central villain, abandoning his well-known protagonist persona in Telugu cinema. Sources disclose that his character is strong, complex, and emotionally charged – holding out a tough and outstanding performance that’s already generating interest among fans and cinemagoers alike.
The movie also boasts of a strong supporting cast comprising Sathyaraj, Ravindra Vijay, and Achyuth Kumar, all with central roles to play that enhance the story. With Vetri Maaran, whose uncompromisingly raw and rustic storytelling has earned him much acclaim, as producer to support the movie, Mandaadi is sure to carry his hallmark storytelling format of realism married with emotional substance.
Complementing the technical excellence of the film is GV Prakash Kumar’s music and S.R. Karthik’s cinematography, priming the film for a visually and emotionally engaging experience.
Suhas back in Tollywood continues his winning streak, with his next release O Bhama Ayyo Rama ready to hit the screens. But with Mandaadi, he makes a risky foray into Kollywood, looking to endear himself to Tamil viewers.
Mandaadi is turning out to be more than a sports drama – it’s a gritty story of competition, survival, and inner strength, against the backdrop of an intense, realistic world.
