Kannada superhit Su From So, which also performed well in Telugu, is now available for streaming on Jio Hotstar from Tuesday. The film is accessible in Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam. Directed by JP Tuminad, the Telugu version was released by Mythri Movie Makers.
Set in a village near Dharmasthali in Karnataka, the story follows Ashok (JP Tuminad), who stops near the house of the girl he loves while returning from a wedding. When two villagers notice him secretly trying to peek, he pretends to be possessed by a spirit to escape. By morning, the rumor of his possession spreads across the village.
To rid Ashok of the supposed spirit, village elder Ravanna (Shanil Gautam) brings Karunaji Swamiji (Raj B Shetty) from the city. The film explores whether Ashok was truly possessed, if Karunaji succeeds, and the chaos that ensues in the village due to the misunderstanding.
