SSMB28 locks Sankranti 2024 with a rocking poster

Superstar Mahesh Babu reunited with ace filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas for the third time after Athadu and Khaleja. The untitled film, tentatively called #SSMB28, was initially scheduled for release on August 11st this year. However, the makers have decided to push it to a new date due to the delay in the shooting formalities.

Now, they have officially announced that the film will arrive in theatres on January 13th 2024. The title of the film has not yet been finalized, but a rocking poster was unveiled on Sunday evening to announce the release date. In the striking poster, Mahesh Babu is seen in his vintage walking style while smoking a cigar. Reportedly, the film is said to be a full length entertainer in the backdrop of Guntur.

Trivikram is considering ‘Amaravati ki Atu Itu’ and ‘Guntur Mirchi’ as the titles for this film. An official announcement will be made very soon. This is the second film to seal the Sankranti spot after Prabhas’ Project K. Some other biggies like RC15 and Pushpa 2 are also eyeing the same festival season.

The film stars Pooja Hegde and Sree Leela as the female leads. SS Thaman is rendering the soundtrack. Haarika Hassine Creations is bankrolling the film on a grand scale.
