SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Bahubali’ is geared up to continue with an animated series. Renowned director SS Rajamouli has announced a new animated series will be released soon. Check out the details:
SS Rajamouli took to his social media platforms to share the announcement of an upcoming animated series. The director posted a video revealing the animated series titled ‘Bahubali: Crown of Blood’ and also confirmed the trailer for the animated series will be out soon.
Along with the video, Rajamouli captioned, “When the people of Mahishmati chant his name, no force in the universe can stop him from returning. Baahubali: Crown of Blood, an animated series trailer, arrives soon!”
The original films ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ and ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ were released in the years 2015 and 2017, respectively. Helmed by Maverick director SS Rajamouli, the film starred an ensemble cast, including Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Nassar, and many others. The film emerged as a massive blockbuster, establishing a benchmark standard in Indian filmmaking and story-telling.
The first animated series based on Baahubali movies was ‘Baahubali: The Lost Legends’, released in 2017, created by Sharad Devarajan and SS Rajamouli, and premiered on Amazon Prime Video.
On the work front, visionary director SS Rajamouli is currently working on his next project with Superstar Mahesh Babu, which is tentatively titled ‘SSMB 29’. Touted to be a globe-trotting jungle adventure, the film marks the first collaboration between SS Rajamouli and superstar Mahesh Babu, sparking anticipation.
