Former Team India captain and ex-BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has officially confirmed that a biopic on his life is in development, with Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao set to play the lead role.
Addressing the long-standing speculation, Ganguly revealed that the project has been delayed due to scheduling conflicts and is expected to take another year before production begins.
Rajkummar Rao, fresh off the success of Stree 2, is currently engaged in multiple projects, including Bhool Chook Maaf, Toaster, and Malik. Further updates on the biopic’s progress are eagerly awaited.
