Skanda Trailer : Ram explodes in Boya mass feast

Energetic hero Ram Pothineni collaborated with director Boyapati Srinu for a masala entertainer titled ‘Skanda’. The film is slated for release on September 15th. During the pre-release event held in Hyderabad today, the makers unveiled the theatrical trailer and it hints that Skanda is another typical mad mass feast from the director.

The two-minute trailer is loaded with trademark masala elements that are expected from Boyapati Srinu’s films. Like his previous offerings, Skanda is going to be another rustic entertainer packed with plenty of high-voltage action blocks, over-the-top dialogues and hero-elevation scenes. It is punctuated with formulaic episodes like family emotions, hero-villain confrontation scenes and heavy-duty fight episodes.

Even though the trailer has Boyapati’s mark in every frame, it is Ram’s electrifying mannerisms and his terrific energy levels that stand out. He looks dynamic in action scenes and sparks with his brilliant dialogue delivery when he challenges the antagonist. Though all other actors appear for a brief period , the trailer focuses entirely on Ram’s character. He steals the thunder with his power-packed screen presence.

The trailer starts with a long shot of a temple which is likely to play a significant role in the film’s narrative as we notice many scenes take place inside and outside it. Ram appears as a college student, but maintains rough mannerisms as a spoiled brat. He gives a big jolt to Sree Leela in the next scene. This is followed by an unlimited mass feast as Ram wreaks havoc with his mannerisms in Boyapati style.

Boyapati is once again banking on a similar template. He is targeting the mass centers as usual by presenting his lead actor in a never-before-seen ferocious avatar. SS Thaman comes up with a thumping background score to elevate the proceedings.

All in all, the trailer of Skanda is going to offer a mass treat to the audience this Vinayaka Chavithi.
