The investigation by AP Counter Intelligence and NIA officials revealed that Siraj, a Vizianagaram youth who was involved in a conspiracy to carry out bomb blasts in Telugu states and other parts of the country, received money from Oman to make explosives.
The investigation revealed that Imran Akram, a resident of Hyderabad and resident of Oman, gave some money to Siraj Ur Rehman, a resident of Vizianagaram, who declared war on India in the name of ‘Ghazwa-e-Hind’ and plotted bomb blasts across the country. The investigation revealed that this money was sent through another person for the cost of explosives.
It also came to light that Imran Akram had assured Siraj that he would provide more funds if required. The police identified Farhan Mohiuddin from Warangal area and Badar from Uttar Pradesh and some others as active players in the Ahim organization. Siraj went to Mumbai on November 22 last year and to Delhi on January 26 this year.
The investigation revealed that he met Adnan Qureshi, Dilshan, Moshin Sheikh, Jassir, Fahad, Amir Ansari and a few others in Mumbai. When they tried to meet Shahbaz and Zeeshan in Delhi, it turned out that they had already left the country. Who are they? The AP Counter Intelligence and the police have focused on their connection to these terrorist activities.
Meanwhile, the Siraj ur Rehman case will be handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The investigation revealed that Siraj was involved in terrorist activities and the roots of this conspiracy were spread across the country and abroad, so the NIA decided to investigate the case.
The NIA will re-register the case and take up the investigation based on the FIR registered on the 16th of last month at the Vizianagaram Second Town Police Station. This process will begin in four to five days.
The NIA will take up the investigation to identify the foreign handlers who pushed Siraj back and forth, arrest all the sleeper cells across the country, and unravel the roots of this terror conspiracy. The NIA is already participating in the investigation being conducted by the AP Police. After re-registering the case, the NIA will conduct a full investigation.
