The AP State Industrial Promotion Board (SIPB) meeting held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has approved investment proposals from a total of 10 companies in sectors like industries, power and tourism to the extent of Rs. 1,21,659 crores.
Through these, 80,104 people will get job and employment opportunities. CM Chandrababu instructed the officials to regularly monitor the progress of projects that have already been approved and signed agreements, set up a tracker for this, and take steps to ensure that the industries that have signed agreements with the state for investments are immediately grounded.
Chandrababu instructed the officials to set up MSME parks in every assembly constituency in the state. As part of this, steps should be taken to immediately set up these parks in 26 districts, one per district. He said that the already proposed Ratan Tata Innovation Centers should be set up in 5 areas of the state within a month.
The SIPB meeting approved the proposals of a total of 10 companies. Premier Energies Limited will be set up in Naidupeta with an investment of Rs 1,742 crore and will create 2,000 jobs. Dalmia Cement, which will invest Rs 2,883 crore in Kadapa district, has been approved. This company will create 354 jobs. Green signal was given to set up Lulu Global International in Visakhapatnam with an investment of Rs 1,500 crore.
Satyavedu Reserve InfraCity Private Limited, which will invest Rs 25,000 crore and create 50,000 jobs, has been approved in Sri City. Indosol Solar Private Limited, which will invest about Rs 58,469 crore and provide 13,050 jobs, has been approved. Balaji Action Buildwell Private Limited, which will create 1,500 jobs with an investment of about Rs 1,175 crore, will be established.
AP NGEL Harith Amrit Limited will create 8,300 jobs in Anantapur and Sri Sathya Sai districts with an investment of Rs. 22,000 crore. Astha Green Energy Ventures India Private Limited will be established in Annamaya and Kadapa districts with an investment of Rs. 8,240 crore to create 4,000 jobs.
Mayfair Beach Resorts and Convention will be established with an investment of about Rs. 400 crore and 750 jobs. Approval has been given to establish Oberoi Vilas Resort with an investment of Rs. 250 crore and the target of creating 150 jobs.
