Global Star Ram Charan is now in the midst of shooting his next sports drama RC 16, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, whose debut blockbuster was Uppena. The film has completed two big schedules in Mysore and Hyderabad successfully, and the team is now preparing for its third schedule, which will take the production of the film to the next level.
In a heartening news for fans, Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, who is playing an important role in the movie, has finished his look test. Word is that he will be joining the sets shortly for shooting. His inclusion in the cast has only added to the expectations and buzz around the film.
To the film’s already star-studded attraction, Janhvi Kapoor is the female lead, and Jagapathi Babu and Divyenndu (Mirzapur fame) play supporting roles.
With Oscar-winning music director AR Rahman composing the music and Ratnavelu cranking the camera, RC 16 is set to be a visual and musical extravaganza. The film is being produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, while Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings are co-producing the film.
