Kollywood actress Trisha Krishnan has made bold remarks regarding her views on marriage, stating that she has no inclination to marry and does not believe in the institution of marriage. Speaking during a promotional interview for her upcoming film Thug Life, in which she stars alongside Kamal Haasan, the actress addressed ongoing speculation about her personal life.
When asked about her wedding plans, Trisha responded candidly, saying she is not bothered about whether she gets married or remains single. Her comments took even Kamal Haasan, seated beside her, by surprise. The actress added that many married individuals lead unhappy lives, and she would rather remain single than enter into a marriage that ends in separation.
Trisha clarified that although she is not currently considering marriage, she may take that step in the future if she meets someone who truly understands her and is committed for life. “If I find someone who I believe will stay with me forever, I will definitely marry. But I am not interested in marrying and then going through a divorce,” she said.
The actress also dismissed recent rumours suggesting that she is in a relationship and preparing for marriage. “Even I don’t know when I will get married,” she added, denouncing the speculations.
In addition to Thug Life, Trisha is currently filming Vishwambhara alongside Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi. The film marks their reunion after Stalin, and is one of the most anticipated collaborations in the South Indian film industry.
