Tollywood actor Sharwanand has embarked on a new journey by launching his own production company named OMI. Unlike conventional production houses, OMI will also extend its services to healthcare products and the hospitality sector. The company’s logo was unveiled on Tuesday by former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, who congratulated Sharwanand and said the name, derived from a blend of “OM” (Omkaram) and “I” (self), was unique and meaningful.
Speaking at the launch, Sharwanand said OMI is his vision and responsibility, and it is not just a company but something more. He expressed hope that it would become a platform for artists and creators across the world, with a focus on bringing new stories to audiences.
On the film front, Sharwanand is busy shooting Naari Naari Naduma Murari, which is set for release in January next year. He is also working on a movie based on bike racing, while another film titled Bhogi has already been announced.
