YS Sharmila who is touring the state of Telangana under her party YSRTP has responded to the sensational case of her demised uncle YS Viveka’s murder case post the latest Supreme Court verdict.
The Apex Court of India transferred the case from AP CBI to Hyderabad CBI upon a petition from YS Sunitha stating that she had no confidence in AP Government. Sharmila claimed that we have to see her cousin Sunitha and her widowed mother as victims and they should get justice. She added that if Sunitha believes that Telangana’s CBI would do justice to her then there is nothing wrong with that and wished her best to the victim. Condemning that her brother YS Jagan was intentionally saving the culprits under his wing, the YSRTP founder stated that she doesn’t believe so but still, she was supporting Sunitha and her mother being a family member as they are in huge need of backing at this sad juncture.
When asked about what she revealed to the CBI in her testimony, Sharmila strongly said that whatever she spoke to the CBI should be between her and the institution and she wants it to remain confidential. However, Sharmila’s dual nature of not criticizing Jagan directly but also supporting Sunitha is confusing many observers.
