YSRTP President YS Sharmila attended the CBI questioning to give her statement regarding the infamous murder case of former MP YS Vivekananda Reddy. The sister of AP CM Jagan finds that her cousin Avinash Reddy has something to do with the murder.
The case of YS Vivekananda Reddy’s Murder reached a conclusion and the CBI of the Telangana branch wanted to close it as per the order of the Court. In its concluding stage, the CBI officials took the statement of Sharmila and the latter revealed that her demised uncle Vivekananda Reddy actually asked Sharmila to contest as Kadapa MP if not him as he didn’t like Avinash Reddy or his father Bhaskar Reddy to contest. Sharmila claimed that the political differences between Avinash Reddy’s family and Vivekananda Reddy’s family are the reasons for this murder and she finds Avinash Reddy has a clear motto as he felt that Vivekananda Reddy was a hurdle for his future in politics. Sharmila never shied away to declare that the family of YSR seemed to be close knit but the cold wars always brewed among the brothers.
YS Jagan’s own sister Sharmila now finding fault with Avinash Reddy who is allegedly backed by Jagan himself is a big blow for the YSRCP. Despite the political gains or losses, Sharmila’s statement did have its own weightage in the final call of CBI.
