Director Mohanakrishna Indraganti will be back soon with a sweet family comedy ‘Sarangapani Jathakam’, now all set to arrive on the silver screens on April 25 officially. As a pure, clean entertainer that is light-hearted in nature, the movie wants to connect with audiences across age groups and so will be an apt summer choice.
Originally scheduled for an April 18 release, the makers decided to shift the date based on distributor feedback. Producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad explained, “To ensure a wider theatrical reach and give the film a bigger release, we’ve decided to move the date to April 25. We believe this film will receive both critical appreciation and commercial success.”
The film features Priyadarshi, known for his impactful performances in acclaimed films like Balagam, 35 – Chinna Katha Kaadu, and Court. In ‘Sarangapani Jathakam’, he steps into yet another memorable character that blends humor and emotion. Roopa Koduvayur plays the female lead, adding charm to the narrative.
Supporting the leads is a strong ensemble cast that includes comic favorites like Vennela Kishore, VK Naresh, and Viva Harsha, promising plenty of laughs. The film also features respected actors such as Tanikella Bharani, Srinivas Avasarala, and Shivannarayana in significant roles.
Produced under the prestigious Sridevi Movies banner, the film continues the successful collaboration between Indraganti and the production house, known for earlier hits like Gentleman and Sammohanam.
Adding to the appeal is the soulful music composed by Vivek Sagar. With four songs already out and receiving a positive response, the soundtrack is expected to be a highlight. PG Vinda handles the cinematography, while Ravinder leads the production design, ensuring a vibrant visual experience.
