Team India captain Rohit Sharma has addressed rumors regarding his retirement, making it clear that he intends to continue playing.
During an event in Dallas on Sunday, Rohit was asked about his potential retirement. He responded, “I’m not someone who thinks too far ahead. You’ll see me playing for a while.”
Rohit had previously announced his retirement from T20I cricket following the World T20, leading to speculation that he might soon retire from other formats as well. However, BCCI secretary Jay Shah had clarified that Rohit will captain Team India in next year’s Champions Trophy and the World Test Championship final.
Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma is expected to be rested for the upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka next month.
