Popular Telugu actress Ritu Varma is set to make her debut in the OTT space with her upcoming romantic web series, ‘Devika & Danny,’ joining the list of actors venturing into digital web series. Ever since the series was announced, it has been generating quite a buzz among fans. The makers have now officially released the trailer and announced the premiere date.
The trailer begins with preparations for a wedding between Devika (Ritu Varma) and a character played by Subbaraju. But right before the ceremony, a priest delivers a cryptic warning that hints that when she is engaged to one man, fate might draw her closer to another. There enters Surya Vashistta, who tries to impress Devika and eventually wins her heart. As her feelings grow, so does the mystery—leading to a tangled web of drama and danger. The unexpected twists and turns in the series will have to wait and watch on Jio Hotstar from June 6.
Devika & Danny, an exclusive Jio Hotstar release, is slated for a release on June 6, 2025. The romantic thriller is directed by Sreekaram fame director B. Kishore and produced by Chaganti Sudhakar under the Joy Films banner.
Apart from the main leads, the series also stars Subbaraju Santosh, Shiva Kandukuri, Soniya Singh, Harsha Chemudu, Kovai Sarala, Gokaraju Ramana, Sivannarayana, Shanmukh, Abhinaya Sri, Mounika Reddy, and Ishwarya Vullingala in significant roles. Jay Krish composed the musical score.
