The recent reports from the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee suggest that the Working President Revanth and the political strategist Sunil Kanugolu are not on good terms with each other to the point that the latter left the work in the middle. Interesting details of this issue are as follows:
The Congress High Command has hired Sunil Kanugolu as the political strategist for TPCC as the general elections of 2023 are approaching for Telangana. Keeping the track record of Sunil and his recent contribution to winning the Karnataka elections, even Revanth showcased interest to work with him. However, the recent interactions between the two went worse and they both are crossing swords at each other internally. Revanth has made some comments against Sunil’s way of designing the campaign for the Congress and Sunil was not ok with Revanth interfering in the strategies. Also, Sunil found fault with Revanth for his own declarations regarding MLA candidates and the main CM candidate all by himself without consulting anyone within the party, let alone the strategist. Deeply hurt by Revanth’s comments and over-involvement, Sunil left for Bengaluru without intimating anyone and now he is not even answering to anyone.
Understanding the gravity of the situation, now the In-charge of TPCC, Manikarao Thakre came to the rescue and assured Revanth of the new strategist. They are all set to hire the former IAS officer Shashikanth Senthil who joined Congress recently and gave his best in bettering the results of INC in Tamil Nadu.
