It is well known that YSRCP leaders had compelled many ward volunteers to resign before the elections. In this context, former minister and YSRCP leader Kodali Nani faces a serious setback. Former ward volunteers have filed a police complaint against him, alleging harassment and coercion to force their resignations. The Gudivada police have registered a case against Kodali Nani based on their complaint. Along with Kodali Nani, his close aide Dukkipati Sasibhushan, Gudivada town YSRCP president Gorla Srinu, and two other YSRCP leaders have been charged under sections 447 and 506 of the IPC.
