It is well known that Falaknuma Express which was traveling from Howrah to Secunderabad has caught fire. Three bogies of the Express train were gutted in the fire accident. As the accident happened in the morning, the passengers were awake and were alerted immediately. They pulled the chain and deboarded the Express. As a result, no casualties have been reported in the fire accident. Fortunately, there were no injuries as well.
Initially, a short circuit was believed to be the reason for the fire accident but those who were traveling in the train noticed that the thick black smoke started from one of the upper berths of the train and the fire started within no time. It is said that the bag was unattended. The suspicions got stronger as three days before South Central Railway received a letter in which it was mentioned that a Balasore-type accident might happen.
The truth will be unveiled after a thorough investigation.
