Mass MaharajE Ravi Teja’s upcoming movie ‘Eagle’ is officially out of the Pongal race as the makers have new plans for its release. However, the new date is yet to be announced by the makers.
Touted to be a slick action thriller, Eagle is directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni who turned as a maker from being a cameraman. The theatrical trailer impressed the netizens but the lack of mass elements failed to bring in the much-needed buzz from the masses. Along with this, the movie failed to close its pre-release business in many regions so the movie’s team decided to go out of the Sankranthi slot as there are already three movies releasing from Telugu alone. Also, the producer council president Dil Raju promised that the movie which moves out of the Pongal slot will be given a solo release in the later weeks.
Eagle has Kavya Thapar and Anupama Parameswaran as the female leads and Navadeep, and Srinivas Avasarala in important roles. Produced by Peoples Media Factory, Eagle’s music is scored by Davzand.
