Rana Daggubati Highly Praises ‘Kalki 2898AD’: Calls It An Indian Avengers Moment

The Bahubali actor lauded his co-star Prabhas’ highly anticipated film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, compared it to Hollywood Avengers, called it an Indian Avengers moment. In a recent podcast with Vamshi Kurapati for his YouTube channel Raw Talks with VK, Rana Daggubati spilled some beans on his career journey, his upcoming film ‘Vettaiyan’, insights into Indian cinema, and much more.

Rana, while speaking about the future of Indian cinemas, said, “The next big moment is Kalki. Nag Ashwin is a very dear friend. I know what he was doing. Not just India and the Indian diaspora, but everyone in the world will get and connect to Kalki. We can have the Avengers moments from our side. That’s what has excited me to be part of it.” He also added that ‘Kalki 2898AD’ can break all boundaries and surpass films like Bahubali and RRR.

‘Kalki 2898AD’, helmed by Maverick director Nag Ashwin, stars a stellar ensemble cast including big names in Indian cinemas like Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and many others. The eagerly anticipated film is slated for a global release on June 27, hitting screens in Telugu, Hindi, English, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
