Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule is taking the global box office by storm, achieving an impressive Rs 449 crore gross in just two days. The sequel to the popular Pushpa franchise, which released worldwide on Friday with versions dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, and Malayalam, saw a record-breaking Rs 294 crore gross on its first day alone. Production company Mythri Movie Makers shared these extraordinary figures on social media, calling it the fastest Indian film to hit the milestone.
The sequel, directed by Sukumar, follows the success of 2021’s Pushpa: The Rise. Pushpa 2 not only secured a massive opening but also set new records in Indian cinema history. Featuring Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj, Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli, and Fahadh Faasil as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, the original film gained immense popularity across India and established a massive fan base that extends well beyond its Telugu roots.
