Pushpa 2 : Sukumar and Allu Arjun turn on silent mode

With ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, Sukumar and Allu Arjun stormed the North India box office with record-breaking collections. Now, there are mammoth expectations for the follow-up, Pushpa: The Rule. The shooting formalities of the second part have been progressing at a brisk pace, but there is hardly any official update from the makers. While all upcoming big-ticket films like Devara, Salaar, Game Changer, Project K, and Guntur Kaaram are in the news for one or the other reasons, there is no noise about Pushpa 2.

Though Pushpa 2 is one of the highly anticipated sequels ever, the team has adopted silent mode after they launched the first teaser a few months back. They are silently wrapping up the talkie part in Hyderabad. Close sources revealed that Sukumar and Allu Arjun don’t want to exaggerate anything about the second part. They know that the buzz on the sequel is quite unprecedented. So, they are concentrating on delivering a grand output that matches the high expectations of the audience.

Surprisingly, the release date of Pushpa 2 has also been not finalized. Initially, there were reports that the film will hit the screens towards the end of this year. Later, they targeted the Summer of 2024. But, there is no official confirmation on these speculations. It is heard that Sukumar is planning to make a massive announcement in the coming days about the release plans.

Mythri Movie Makers is the production house behind this project. Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil are essaying significant roles in the film.
