Suriya is preparing for his 45th film in Tamil cinema, collaborating with actor-director RJ Balaji on an action thriller infused with humor. After finishing Karthik Subbaraj’s Suriya 44, the actor plans to take a brief hiatus to enjoy time with his family before starting production on Suriya 45 in November 2024.
Reports indicate that RJ Balaji initially pitched the story concept to Thalapathy Vijay for his 69th film. However, due to creative differences, Vijay decided to decline the offer. In contrast, Suriya found the narration compelling and quickly agreed to take on the project. While official announcements are yet to be made, speculation suggests a talented cast and crew are in the works.
A.R. Rahman is said to be attached to compose the songs and original score for Suriya 45. Sources indicate that RJ Balaji presented a detailed narrative to Rahman, who was captivated by the concept and readily agreed to be part of the project.
