Prabhas – Hanu film is a period drama with an interesting backdrop

Baahubali actor Prabhas is the cynosure of the entire nation. His latest film Adipurush, a modern tale of the Hindu epic Ramayana, released to mixed reports last Friday. But, the box office numbers are very impressive in all territories. And, the anticipation surrounding his future projects is soaring high. He has Salaar, Project K, Raja Deluxe and Spirit lined up for the next couple of years.

Meanwhile, Prabhas seems to have locked the director for his new project. As reported earlier by us, the Saaho actor will team up with critically acclaimed Tollywood filmmaker Hanu Raghavapudi who recently delivered a classic in the form of Sita Ramam. Our exclusive sources informed us that this is going to be a period drama with a war backdrop. Like Hanu’s previous films, this story will also have a tinge of romance.

Hanu is a master storyteller who can narrate engaging dramas in his inimitable style with arresting screenplay. He readied an impressive script laced with a heart-wrenching love story in the backdrop of a gripping war. Prabhas is said to be mighty pleased with the character that presents him in a completely new avatar. So, he immediately agreed to work with the director.

After wrapping up Project K and Raja Deluxe, Prabhas will start working on Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit. So, Hanu’s film will commence shooting mid-next year.
