Cyberabad Police Bust ‘Drug Party’ at Five-Star Hotel

The Cyberabad police apprehended Gajjala Vivekanand, the 37-year-old son of BJP leader Gajjala Yoganand, for allegedly consuming cocaine at a ‘drug party’ held in a five-star hotel room in Gachibowli on Saturday night. Vivekanand, who serves as the director of construction company Manjeera Group, reportedly frequented room 1200 of the Radisson Hotel, often accompanied by friends, according to hotel staff. The party was allegedly organized by Syed Abbas, who is currently evading authorities.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty disclosed that around 10 individuals attended the party and are suspected of collectively consuming drugs, including cocaine. Cases were registered against Vivekanand, along with two others named Nirbhay and Kedhar, under the NDPS Act. Mohanty added that six individuals are under scrutiny, with further action pending based on CCTV footage.
