Sujeeth, director of the highly anticipated gangster action drama “OG” starring Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, revealed an intriguing detail about a pivotal sequence in the film during an interview.
Sujeeth revealed, “We’ve incorporated an Aikido (martial arts) sequence in the film. While I designed it with the resources available to me, Kalyan Garu was committed to perfection. He enlisted the help of Aikido masters from Pune and Mumbai, engaging in numerous practice sessions to ensure an outstanding performance.”
Pawan Kalyan went beyond consulting experts, diving into YouTube tutorials and extensive discussions with Sujeeth to perfect the sequence. Their collaboration led to a redesign of the action block, filmed over three days instead of the initially planned half-day shoot. Kalyan’s dedication to excellence extended the filming schedule, ultimately resulting in an impressive sequence.
