Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and his nephew Sai Dharam Tej’s multistarrer Bro are running more successfully on the OTT than in the theaters. The movie has impressive views and is continuing on to the top position among the August releases.
Bro: The Avatar had a mixed run at the box office even after having good reviews as the movie lacked commercial elements and only focused on the story alongside the message the director wanted to convey about life. The movie debuted on Netflix on the 21st of August trending top right from day one. Both the Telugu and Hindi versions are equally received by the netizens and the movie as of today stands at the numero uno position in India and overall at 7th position among the non-English movies of the world. Interestingly, the Hindi version is trending in 8th position in both Pakistan and Bangladesh depicting the wider reach of the audiences. This is indeed a good piece of news for the Powerstar fans who are quite disappointed with the full run collections earlier. Looking at the current trend, the movie is not slowing down and will continue to trend on top for the upcoming days as well.
Directed by Samudrakhani, Trivikram penned dialogues and additional script. Priya Prakash Warrier, Kethika Sharma, Thanikella Bharani, Brahmanandam, etc. portrayed important roles in this thriller where Pawan Kalyan appeared as the God of time. SS Thaman’s background score ended as the main highlight of the movie apart from Pawan Kalyan’s screen presence.
