Pawan Kalyan wins hearts with his first Instagram post

Actor and social activist Pawan Kalyan has been striking a balance between movies and politics ever since he launched his political party Janasena a decade ago. With the 2024 assembly elections in the offing, the Janasena supremo has been dedicating ample time to political activities. He launched an offensive against the ruling dispensation in Andhra Pradesh through his Vaaraahi Yatra.

Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan made his Instagram debut a few weeks ago. He garnered a record number of followers within hours of his entry into the social media giant. He now commands close to 25 lakh followers.

Making his Instagram debut more memorable through his first post, Pawan Kalyan posted a video that features a pictorial collage of his beautiful memories in Tollywood. The video starts with a note of gratitude from Pawan Kalyan to all those whom he worked alongside in his journey. The note read ‘ Memories to Cherish Forever ‘ Grateful to be a part of the film industry and work alongside so many talented and humble personalities.

The video featured snapshots of Pawan Kalyan with legendary actors like Chiranjeevi, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Balakrishna, and Venkatesh. The next slide has his photos with current-generation superstars like Mahesh Babu, NTR, Prabhas, Ram Charan, and Allu Arjun. It also has his memories with Superstar Krishna, Allu Ramalingaiah, and Dasari Narayana Rao. He also included his photos with noted character artists, other popular actors, comedians, technicians, directors, etc. He also included his memories with actors in other languages. It came as a big surprise to everyone because many expected that Pawan Kalyan would lash out at the ruling YSRCP government through his Instagram posts. He uses his Twitter account to point out the inefficiencies of the governments in Andhra Pradesh. It remains to be seen if he confines his Instagram page to non-political posts.
