Pawan Kalyan Warns `A Vote To Vamshi Is Insulting Women’

Sunday, October 13, 2024

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan warned that a vote to Vallabhaneni Vamsi, who is contesting from Gannavaram as YCP candidate, is insulting women as a whole. He said any vote given to Vamsi will be like supporting those who humilate and insult our women.

Participating in Varahi Vijayabheri Yatra in Hanuman Junction of Gannavaram constituency on Wednesday, he lashed out YCP candidate Vamsi. After fielding candidates like Vamsi, he deplored that people who have self respect cannot be in the YCP. That’swhy, he said people like Yarlagadda Venkatarao and Balashauri came out of that party.

Strongly objecting Vamsi’s abusive language in the state assembly, Pawan Kalyan said that criticisms should be reasonable, but should not speak nonsense while being in respectable positions. He said that he was deeply hurt by the abusive language used by Vamsi in the state assembly against NTR’s daughter and former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu’s wife (Nara Bhuvaneshwari).

If Jana Sena supporters or others vote for Vamsi, he said that will encourage those who disrespect and abuse women. “Chandrababu’s wife is like my sister. YCP has insulted my sister. Tomorrow they will not spare women in your house also”. he added. Lamenting Vmsi’s derogatory language in the assembly was the worst one, he appealed to people not to let YCP win, which has no respect for women.

“Not giving jobs and employment opportunities to the youth. Not giving timely salaries to the government employees. Disrespecting women in the Assembly. Failed to provide irrigation and drinking water. Such a party should be defeated in these polls”, he asserted.

He expressed his anger that the natural resources like sand, soil and mines were looted at will and the price of sand, which was Rs.1800 earlier, was increased to Rs.5 thousand.

“There are still four days left for the election. These are the elections that will shape our future. Everyone should vote very carefully. Yarlagadda Venkatarao, who is contesting from Gannavaram on behalf of the alliance, Kolusu Parthasarathy, who is contesting from Nuzvid, and Vallabhaneni Balashauri, who is  from Machilipatnam Lok Sabha… are all from YCP. Unable to  compromise self-respect, they came out and stood in the ring on behalf of the alliance. It is our responsibility to win them”, he added.
